Investors in People Accreditation - Clear Law Solicitors
Here at Clear Law, we are proud to have achieved Investors in People recognition. Investors in People have grown to be the UK’s leading people management business improvement standard because it delivers improved performance to thousands of organisations, based on an independent assessment approach.
What does it deliver?
Investors in People deliver a specially customised management structure based on the organisation’s personal priorities and build up a business plan based on these key areas. With Clear Law, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of client care and service and Investors in People have aided in strengthening our ability to meet and maintain our dedication to those goals.
How did we acquire the accreditation?
Clear Law were subjected to an intensive assessment by representatives of Investors in People. The assessment involves 5 main stages:
• Planning meeting.
• On-site assessment.
• Assessment report.
• Continuous improvement feedback.
• Annual visit or discussion.
Investors in People assessments are entirely interview-based. The assessor will interview people from across your organisation, top managers, managers and people. The purpose of this is to establish whether the aims and ambitions of the top managers are understood and being implemented by those throughout the organisation.
A final comprehensive assessment report will then be compiled and presented to you with the opportunity for a detailed discussion of the findings. It is the ideas and suggestions on where the organisation needs to focus development work that is often most useful.
Benefits to an organisation:
• Proving Investors in People works – recent research demonstrates that Investors in People improves financial performance, increases profitability and helps organisations meet their strategic objectives.
• Managing change in a downturn – CBI research undertaken in 2008 stated that “Investors in People is a particularly useful framework for organisations undergoing significant or rapid change.”
• Business improvement focused – whatever the business priorities, Investors in People’s framework can now be geared to ensure an organisation gets the best results against their business plan.
• Continuous Development – their advisers, assessors and self-check tools can tell us how well we are performing, suggest key performance indicators or provide tailored business advice on where to best focus development activity.
Investors in the People work on a business to help improve their profitability, financial performance, meeting their targets and reducing staff turnover. All these factors lead to a winning formula in terms of business efficacy and long-term client care.
