  • Obtain confirmation to act on your behalf
  •  Inspect title deeds to show that there are no charges registered against the property
  • Obtain confirmation from the provider that they will lend on the property (depends on type /value) 
  • Request your date of birth details to establish proof of age
  • Obtain relevant paperwork from the provider confirming their offer
  • Complete the paperwork
  • Forward documentation for your signature, explaining the basis on which the Equity Release Scheme is being offered and the potential consequences of a reduced estate
  • Agree date for the Equity Release Scheme to be put into place
  • Request funds from the provider
  • Confirm on the agreed date that you wish to proceed
  • Forward funds to you
  • Confirm completion of the transaction affected by the provider
  • Write to the Land Registry to register the property
  • When registartion received, forward confirmation to you and the provider.
