- Answer any queries that the buyer’s solicitor has
- Exchange contracts
- Arrange for buyer’s solicitors to provide a signed contract and deposit
- Request a redemption statement from the mortgage lender
- Arrange for the seller to sign the transfer document
- Keep to the completion date and deadlines, as agreed between the seller and buyer
- Collect any balance of money due on completion
- Arrange to pay off any mortgage on the property
- Pay the estate agent
- Send the deeds to the buyer’s solicitors
- Forward the balance and statement of account to you
