  • Apply for your deeds from your mortgage lender
  • Prepare the contract and arrange for it to be signed by you
  • Forward the contract to the buyer's solicitors
  • Answer any queries that the buyer's solicitor has
  • Exchange contracts
  • Arrange for the buyer's solicitor to provide a signed contract and deposit
  • Request a redemption statement from the mortgage lender
  • Arrange for the seller to sign the transfer document
  • Adhere to the completion date and deadlines as agreed between the seller and buyer
  • Collect any balance of money on completion
  • Arrange to pay off any mortgage on the property
  • Pay the estate agent
  • Pass the deeds to the buyer's solicitor
  • Send you the remaining balance and a statement of account
